About HEI Schools Saigon Central
Founded in the academic year 2004-2005 as Hai Thang Chin Private Kindergarten (02/09), the school has always been committed to delivering high-quality early childhood education for Vietnamese children, grounded in scientific research and tailored to each child’s individual needs.
With nearly two decades of dedication, the school has grown remarkably in every aspect of school life from its modest beginnings. Beyond supporting students in achieving academic success and developmental milestones, the school takes pride in fostering a strong and inclusive community that empowers each child to reach their full potential.
In 2020, the school strengthened its collaboration with prestigious Finnish institutions, including the University of Helsinki, HEI Schools, and the University of Turku. This partnership led to comprehensive upgrades to align facilities with Finnish standards and to enhance the pedagogical approach, ensuring even greater personalization in supporting the growth and development of every child.
About HEI Schools (Finland)
Established in 2016, the HEI Schools system (Helsinki International Schools) was co-founded by the University of Helsinki in collaboration with leading early childhood education experts from Finland. HEI Schools is dedicated to holistic education, nurturing the whole child by integrating the latest research with advancements in teacher training, creativity in teaching, and innovative educational methods.
As a co-founder, the University of Helsinki enables HEI Schools to rapidly implement cutting-edge educational insights, distinguishing it from other early childhood education providers. To date, HEI Schools has successfully co-established over 45 Finnish-standard preschools and kindergartens across the globe, with locations in Australia, Canada, China, India, South Korea, the United States, Saudi Arabia, Thailand, and Indonesia.
In Vietnam, HEI Schools partnered with Phu Dang Khoa Education to establish HEI Schools Saigon Central. After three years of meticulous preparation, HEI Schools Saigon Central officially opened its doors to children in April 2023.
