About HEI Schools Saigon Central
Founded in 2004-2005 as Hai Thang Chin Private Kindergarten (02/09), the school has always aimed to provide high-quality early childhood education for Vietnamese children, rooted in scientific research and individualized learning.
With nearly 20 years of dedication, the school has grown significantly in all aspects of school life from its humble beginnings. Beyond helping students achieve academic success and developmental milestones, we take pride in building a strong school community that supports each child in realizing their potential.
In 2020, the school enhanced its collaboration with the University of Helsinki (Finland), HEI Schools (Finland), and the University of Turku (Finland) to comprehensively upgrade its facilities to Finnish standards and to refine its pedagogical approach for greater personalization for each child.
About HEI Schools (Finland)
From 2016, the HEI Schools system (Helsinki International Schools) was officially founded by the University of Helsinki alongside experienced early childhood education experts in Finland. HEI Schools focuses on nurturing the whole child (holistic education), combining the latest research with improvements in teacher training, creativity in teaching, and innovative educational methods.
With the University of Helsinki as a co-founder, HEI Schools can quickly apply new educational insights, setting it apart from other early childhood organizations. Today, HEI Schools has co-founded over 45 Finnish-standard preschools and kindergartens worldwide, including in Australia, Canada, China, India, South Korea, the United States, Saudi Arabia, Thailand, and Indonesia.
In Vietnam, HEI Schools partnered with Phu Dang Khoa Education to establish HEI Schools Saigon Central. After three years of preparation, HEI Schools in Vietnam began welcoming children in April 2023.
